Compressors come in various models and off course vary in their usage. As the volume of the gas decreases, it pressure increases as it is contracted to a smaller space. More powerful a compressor is more pressure will it produce in it.

Some high pressure producing heavy duty Compressors are used in large factories that require heavy punching and pressing machines. When the compressed air or gas is released, any mechanical body can be moved with the energy obtained. Moulding machines of some kinds use compressor as their source of power. In the textile mills, a compressor plays a vital role in the manufacturing process. They are used in the process of large scale cloth and leather cutting, and for pressing printing hardware over cloth.
